Letter from Marianne Faloni, Founder and CEO
Hi Atlanta!
BoldImpact™ ATL didn’t begin with a plan. It began with a question: What could happen if we stopped showing up to simply network… and started showing up to truly act?
What if we measured our progress, held each other accountable, and moved forward together—not in silos, but in step?
What if Atlanta—this incredible city of visionaries, builders, thinkers, and doers—came together as one community? Not divided by industry or title, but united by purpose. Imagine the possibilities if legacy companies, universities, startups, civic leaders, nonprofit
organizations, artists, athletes, creators, and cultural influencer worked hand-in-hand toward a common goal.
That vision is what started BoldImpact ATL’s journey. I began by listening—really listening—to the stories, the challenges, the hopes. And again and again, I came back to the same truth: we need each other. No one organization, no one leader, no one solution is enough to face the scale of the sustainability challenges ahead. It’s overwhelming, yes. But so is planting a garden—until you realize it’s one seed, one row, one day at a time.
The United Nations gave us a blueprint: 17 Sustainable Development Goals. People. Planet. Prosperity. Peace. Partnership. They set the deadline for 2030. That’s not far off—just four and a half years. And yet, it’s enough time to do something bold… if we act now.
Atlanta is ready. We have everything we need—the talent, the passion, the infrastructure, the heart. But we must to work together and not in isolation. We must build bridges across sectors and silos.
Atlanta is magic. There’s an energy pulsing through this city—through our neighborhoods, our streets, our stories. It’s more than a moment; it’s movement. And it’s grounded in something deeper: our culture.
That culture is our north star. It’s community-driven, rooted in resilience, and bold by nature. When Atlantans see their neighbors taking action, they don’t stand on the sidelines—they step in. They show up, and they show out. That’s the legacy we’ve inherited. That’s the energy we’re building on.
My hope is simply this: to offer you with a sense of possibility—and to do it with heart. Because you matter. Your work matters. Atlanta needs you. The next generation is counting on us. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
There is no other time.
There is no better time.
The time is now.
Let’s create bold impact. Together.
